Building your home is exciting and for some a dream come true. Yet, there is always the question that needs answering when researching, and that is ‘How much’?
At MODE homes we design every home to suit your needs, taste, budget and the requirements of the space. As we don’t sell homes “off the rack” no two are the same, therefore no two cost the same.
Each home is costed according to the size, design and materials used to complete your home.
Building a home attracts so many variables that affect the cost, therefore affect the end result.
For example, let’s say you were shopping for a tailored suit to wear. The first question you will most likely ask the tailor is how much will it cost?
The tailor will need to know several key factors, such as…What size are you? What fabric would you like to use, is it a full suit, what is your budget? What texture? What colour and maybe what occasion will you be wearing this for?
These types questions are not dissimilar (obviously on a larger scale) to what we would need to you to provide us with, in order to obtain a general estimate of pricing.
- size, design layout and material selection
- your individual requirements all affect this and are necessary to know prior to being able to give indicative pricing.
- site access and site considerations. Slope, trees and orientation
- location of your project
We find a majority of our residential projects work out at approx. $3000 plus GST per sqm.
This does not include site costs. Please refer to our inclusions and exclusions document.
Our Standard Specifications form the basis of each project. We have selected high quality finishes and energy efficient appliances as part of our Standard Specifications.
Being Architects, we welcome you to include anything you desire in your home. You are not limited to just our Standard Specifications.
To receive a price estimate, we offer our popular Sketch Start package where you have direct access to our Architect who will work with your requests to pre-qualify your project and provide an estimate. We welcome you to discuss your project in more detail.
