DESIGN & MATERIALS
Our homes are constructed with steel frames. The steel frames make the homes very strong and not susceptible to termites. Steel frames are also straight and true and light in weight compared to other building materials. For cladding we usually use corrugated iron, board and batten, native hardwoods or weathertex weathergroove cladding sheets. Internal lining is usually plasterboard or high grade finish plywood.

Yes, we would love to show you around a MODE home. The MODE display home is in Belmore Sydney, our architect is available by appointment on Saturdays to walk you through, explain the design and discuss your project. We also have a number of homes under construction at any one time. These will be either in our factory in Blacktown Sydney or on site in a variety of locations. Please enquire about homes currently available for viewing.
Yes, Modular construction is generally a cost-effective way to build on a sloping site as we build the steel pasts and bracing supports before the modules arrive and then crane onto the supports.
We build our homes in our factory in Blacktown on the outskirts of Sydney.
Prices indicated on our standard plans are usually a starting point but as we are architects as well as home builders we like to design each project specific to the site and client requirements.
SPECIFICATIONS, DELIVERY & SITE INFO
One of the dynamic features of our designs is the raking ceilings. In all our modules the ceilings vary from 2400mm to 2850mm. Our ceiling heights exceed BCA regulation requirements, for example all our bathrooms have ceiling heights over 2400mm. The regulations requite 2100mm. For bedrooms and living rooms the regulations ask for 2400mm, we provide up to 2850mm.
